Megan Heitmann
Role: Broader Impacts Training Coordinator Phone: 641-485-1612 Email: heitmann@iastate.eduMegan Heitmann holds the position of Broader Impacts Training Coordinator for the Grants Hub. Megan has worked to support researchers and Iowa State University in their broader impacts efforts for the past ten years. She has served on the steering committee for the National Alliance for Broader Impacts (NABI) since 2014, serves as co-chair of the planning committee for the annual NABI Summit, and is the Training Coordinator for the NSF-funded ARIS Center based out of the University of Missouri. She delivers trainings, provides input on professional development curriculum, gathers data for center evaluation, and provides recommendations for future offerings based on those data. She holds BS degrees in Marketing and Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Drake University.
